Just booked a 4-bed cottage for Sunday - Tuesday at Sand Valley after the Ope-In. Might as well take a chance and hope to get a Lido time or two. Worst case another 108 holes at SV and MD ain’t bad.

I schmoozed as hard as I could to help my odds of getting on Lido. Spending $3200 on a down payment at a cottage was a good start I think/hope.

I am incredibly intrigued by this.

Based on my wife already forgetting three times that I have my “August internet golf friends trip”, she definitely doesn’t remember how long it is.

Oh yeah that part… We still out number our one and are evenly matched when solo. No idea how 3+ kid families do anything other than rear children.

I can’t make the Ope-In because I have my family golf tournament (The Reiter Cup) the 18th-20th, but my wife and I were going to try to make it to SV on the 22nd for my birthday. I was going to call soon to see what my options were for lodging/times. What do you have for tee times, I can try and book close to you all!
