My wife and I played 18 in just under 2 hours on Monday… 
I find the quality of my golf is inversely proportionate to the amount of time I spend thinking about my game on the course.

Playing tournament golf has always been a challenge for me because of this same thing. I regularly get comments about how I play “so fast” when playing with new people. Uhh, yeah, I don’t need to think about it anymore because I’ll do or try something dumb because my idiot brain talks me into it.
