I’ll tell them we’ll take the Presidential Suite.

This is highly recommended. There’s likely going to be a round played at my club before (maybe) in the Milwaukee area as I still owe @MidwestHack a round from the last ope

Sounds good! These 2000 courses aren’t going to play themselves.

ohmanohmanohmanohmanohman, EH is my number one favorite course, but I should really get back home after 3 nights away, but what is one more day after being gone for three days. GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, fuck it, I’m in and I’ll deal with that fall out (checks watch) next year.

Nice thing about being local? You only have a short drive home after!

Damn, this is tempting. In my head I’ve already tacked on like 5 different courses to that weekend…future me will have to decide which ones to follow through on

I played EH this summer with my brother and my trusty yardage book, no caddies. At the turn the caddie in the group in front of us stopped and said “do you play here a lot, because we are shocked at how well you’re making it through the course with no caddie.” It was the best compliment I’ve ever received on the golf course.

Also, more unrelated to nothing, the first time I played EH, at the end of the round our caddie mixed up my driver with my buddy’s. He was en route to Sand Valley and was shocked when on 1 tee box he pulled the cover off and had my diver in his hand.

Unsolicited compliments from the grizzled caddies are the best compliments. I still remember the warm, fuzzy feeling of one I got three years ago

A caddie at Bandon called me an athlete last week and I’m still buzzing.

It’s that low resting heart rate. He probably saw your Whoop stats and was like :exploding_head:

All this Ope activity motivated me to get the HH details out. One quick aside to the camping contingent, I very much wanted to do that, but I only get so many nights away from a 6 year old that wakes me and only me up every fucking morning, so the option of sleeping in a bed without that is too much to pass up.

I booked three nights. Open to a roommate, but there’s a chance I might bail that Saturday night to save some scratch for the EH round. My parents live about 20 min from EH.

I know lodging options in that part of the world are few and far between, but I just can’t start thinking about it until I’m inside the cut line and I have paid my deposit.

Just so everybody knows. This isn’t going to be due until we are much, much closer to the event. I will float it until that time.
