I think my gift was delivered today - USPS said Friday, then it got moved to Monday…I’m assuming my guy is just one with a social life and hasn’t made it home yet/had time to open it up

When I got a delivery notification over the weekend from an actual person - and not just Amazon - I had a feeling I knew what it was, but I also knew it would be tonight before I could open it and the anticipation of figuring out what it could be was intense. I offer the Refuge very little substance (mostly shit posts and the occasional anecdote in the parenting thread), so there’s not much to truly guide NLU Santa, but @ARoeder absolutely nailed it.
My daughter will absolutely be rocking the President’s Cup polo on a regular basis, the Strapped tee is taking over the leadoff role of the lineup, and - in a wild coincidence - I actually decided to go back to a blade-style putter after years of the mallet-style, so the putter head cover is as much a necessity to keep me from having to raw dog my old Odyssey blade putter.
The Longhorn koozie was a tad confusing at first, until I noticed the year - 2012 - and it quickly brought a big smile to my face as I remembered the 63-21 ass whooping that fall. Job well done, Santa.

Came home to find an absolutely delightful surprise from @PinePocky at my doorstep today.
Absolutely nailed it with a head cover from my favorite place on earth. Made me realize I was severely lacking on sand valley merch and this more than made up for it.
Tying in my love of movies with the blockbuster. But the absolute kicker is the Francis Scott Key Key pouch. I have watched wayyyyyy too many hours of The West Wing. This truly made my day.

They absolutely will. That Smokey the Bear pin was pure heat, and as someone who’s listened to a fair amount of Circling Back (and Touching Base before that), the Washed marker was a nice surprise!

Dropped my outgoing off at the school mail room on Friday before leaving for break… tracking info still hasn’t populated. I’m concerned they put it in a corner somewhere, so I just emailed them today. Here’s hoping it gets going soon!!!

From my experience shipping Marshall’s goods cross country, they are pretty darn accurate.
To my Secret Santa - please do not stress. Christmas is less than a week away. Worrying about getting this my present shipped should be the lowest priority right now.

Last component is in and we are packing up to drop off today after work! Recipient - fingers crossed it was worth the wait!

The secret Santa gods smiled on me and @drv4show was my Secret Santa again! It is funny seeing all of your key interests distilled into a single box, thanks much to you sir! Nova will surely enjoy the Packers collar, despite our terrible season so far. I plan to bake something from the book for the family for the holidays, skål!
