@Phillip360 this thread is for ranking courses by club sandwiches. Recently at the OP Phil ranks his favorite clubs at each course. Which started the debate. What course had the best clubs??
- The Home Course
- Gold Mountain*
- Chambers Bay
*California Club
He has spoken.
How do we define a club sandwich?
Turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayonnaise are the only requirements.
How many slices of bread
Big miss on the required slices of bread.
Maybe he’s talking about a club salad.
In Alabama they use ham instead of turkey everywhere I have a club.
If it doesn’t have 3 slices of bread it can gtfo of the club sandwich discussion.
Why would you want more of the worst part of the sandwich?
Without the third piece of bread it’s just a turkey sandwich with bacon
That’s wild, man.
Is a double quesadilla a club sandwich?
Technically 4 layers of tortilla so disqualified on that count as well as the fact that it’s a goddamn quesadilla not a sandwich!
Good thing the Earl of Tarandowah wasn’t the Earl of Sandwich, amirite?
That’s wild, man
Reeks of regional bias. We’ll need a rating panel, of a diverse body of raters, who have seen a commensurate amount of club sammys to rate on the following criteria
Bread toast level
Temperature of meat
Cheese selection
Produce freshness
Condiments
Shower water pressure
Only required items. Club can be on a croissant. I personally prefer 3 layers, but don’t want to narrow our scope too early.
