Let me know if you guys see pin locations not changing each round. The reported course condition/pin bug is supposed to only be for playing in groups, but it would kinda suck to not get the Sat and Sun pins this week. I know they fixed it in Career mode so it should have carried over to societies. So far in society play for me it seems to be setting course conditions and pins correctly.
Can’t speak for the others but I believe each round had a different pin location as you intended.

the spinner is usually in the range for me (or at least the shorest I can hit it 60 yard I think?), but if there is any elevation change it get’s a little hard.
can sometimes manage a partial spinner too, even below the minimum distance you can set
Yep, the swing feels super quick but it is possible to get the spinner below 75%. It does take a lot of spin off as would be expected, but it still rolls out way less than a pitch shot.
pro tip, if you can’t get enough spin (out of the rough after a failed lay up) just hit the pin!

Was I think -5 over all going into amen corner and got COOKED on 12 going for the back pin. scraped a few birdies on the the following holes and ended at -2. That hurt.

the best part is the patch notes say they added new clubs, but the store remains completely unchanged

I can’t think of a reason other than legal/licensing why it’s this way, they could be raking in the $$ from VC, more than I’m sure they already are. I really don’t want to wait until Season 2 to be able to play a set of irons I want.
I bet they are buried in quests or sponsor progression, I’ll have to do some digging later. HB has always been very sparse with patch notes and leave it to players to find most things.

So what build is everyone using for the the current tournament?
Rolling with my 99 Technician. Used mostly power fittings on the woods to get my driver carry to 284 and use powerr drive most of the time unless it’s a tee shot that requires more precision

Yeah, it’s like a no man’s land. Pitch runs out to much, and this is just beyond the spinner range. I’ve started hitting a lob wedge approach, dialed all the way back, and then adjusting loft to further reduce some distance and it’s worked pretty well for me.

I feel like they’ve fixed some of the issues in this version with greens being virtually unreadable when putting through shadows. Unfortunately, greens are now virtually unreadable in direct sunlight on courses with really shiny greens.
Was cruising in my second round and my kid was sitting next to me a bumped my arm on a chip shot on 11 and into the water I went. Double bogey

99 tech for me. Power drive as well to help reach par 5s and on some par 4s to have a shorter approach. I have all power fittings on the driver, and a mixed bag on the 3 wood and irons. I may experiment with taking a wedge out and adding a 3 iron, just depends on how comfy I am partial swinging the wedges, but right now this works for me. Currently avoiding hybrids because I don’t want to have to evo those as well as irons.
For ranked matches I usually swap the driver and 3 wood for hickories, but I like being able to customize the shaft color on the modern clubs.
Being able to change the colors of the grid/beads should not be that difficult, and I think would be an easy win for accessibility. I’ve only seen the option for a high contrast hud in the game settings, nothing for the green grid so I could be missing something.

Patch notes. Notably, allegedly the bug that was holding up TGCTours from starting is fixed, but still in testing to verify. That was the issue with groups playing society events seeing different course conditions.
The pro shop won’t have the new clubs until tomorrow when it does the daily refresh

Stating this mostly in jest, still wondering when I’m going to have fun playing this game. Feel like I’ve made some poor XP choices, may need to nuke my guy and start over.
