Pine Valley is now playable on 2k25!
We are, yes. It does take some getting used to, thatās for sure.
OH NO
Iām sorry if I missed it. Do you have a screenshot of planned swing/difficulty settings?
lol sorry!
Check the Difficulty Settings tab on the spreadsheet, that has them all screenshotted there. For the society, the ones set to Open means you can set whatever you want for those.
Takes so long to level up your golfer at the present time
Theyāve made baby steps, still too grindy IMO. Iām guessing you have a lot of attribute points but not enough VC to apply them?
I could be an 87 tomorrow if I spent $100 on enough VC to do it.
Yep. If they want to tie VC to player skills, fine, but make it relatively easy to earn. If they can increase the per hole payout to 4 VC (72 per 18 holes), and increase the payouts for ranked 1v1, then weāll be on our way to some balance. Ranked tournaments do earn now at least, which was needed.
The next test event in the society I have a very small purse to experiment with payouts. I think when I was messing with the settings before it caps me at 5 or 6k VC for a purse with no buy in, so I plan to do that at least a couple times in the early season.
I am maxed out on attribute points to use till I reach level 75 overall. Think I am only at 67. Itās going to take a long time.
let me know if I can provide any resources or assistance with leveling. Currently, Career mode is the quickest way to get XP and levels, as well as complete quests that give additional VC.
That is what I am doing. I have it set at perfect swing to get as much as possible as quick as possible. The only problem is then I am not getting better at the game. But canāt really get better till you level up.
Yeah the attribute points and club fittings really do help. If the swing is where the biggest challenge lies currently, this is a good resource to check out
I just donāt get time to practice with he swing because I am trying to get as much VC as possible. So setting on perfect swing helps you win
Gotcha. Yep, thatās the thing with this game, it does require a lot of practice to get good at it. Some things carry over from past games but this was the most drastic change weāve seen in any of the game iterations.
Between the Demo and the first weekend, Iāve got my Sculptor up to 93 or something. I made a bunch of other architypes and got them to 74 with the re birth but once the grind became clear I basically didnāt touch them again, and wont until Iāve got my Sculptor basically fully fitted out.
Also in case someone doesnāt know (I literally just figured it out) pressing right trigger (r2) on a tee shot before you tee off will allow you to change position on the tee box.
Useful on a couple holes at quail in particular. Thereās one par 4 on the back that cants hard to the left and thereās a big tree over the left of the tee box
They gotta fix that, I know itās a small object but they have pretty good hit boxes on tree branches and trunks, itās doable.
I canāt remember what hole it was on and accidentally hit my next shot before thinking to go back for the replay, but I had one that I one hopped in, heard the ball in hole sound, then it splashed in water that was clearly under the scenery. Penalty shot and drop right next to the hole
