I just played the âMidwest openâ which has an Ohio logo and thereâs absolutely no way the default course which looks like a cross between Tobacco Road and Bandon Dunes could be found anywhere in Ohio
Do I need to set the fairways to very firm or anything? Currently my shot is creeping along at about a yard per second, might be here a while
Went unconscious second round of the society event for a two par -17. Have no idea how people consistently do that

I do have the fairways cranked to max roll and firmness when published. I havent tested to see if the âVery Firmâ setting is firmer than 100 firmness in the designer though.

one good note from the new patch is itâs now worth playing the daily ranked tour events.
costs 50vc to enter
54vc received for finishing the round
100vc received the next day. If you finish high enough up the leaderboard (spoiler I did not) then youâll receive more than 100vc for your play.
Ranked daily events are now worth at least 104vc per round compared to 4vc before the patch.

Itâs a good step in the right direction, Iâd like to see the regular VC for playing a round be increased too, but I wouldnât hold my breath. I think 2 full rounds should earn enough for an attribute point, that way there is some work to do to level up, but it doesnât take a stupid amount of time.
Paying in VC to play an event and not getting any return was the dumbest thing they did, so glad that is fixed.
Iâm gonna see how much I can grind VC in the next couple weeks and if I have enough I can try to put purses in for at least a couple society events to help players out.
I tried to donate 69 VC to the society but I forgot about tax and so it ended up as 62 and then I didnât know the actual tax rate so I figured Id go back and donate 1VC at a time to get to 69.

lol I appreciate it! The transaction fee for VC is one of the things I have never understood, like is there a limit on the fake digital currency that they can create out of thin air? Is some Take-Two exec sitting on an account with millions of 2K VC?
Definitely donât donate if you still need to level up your MyPlayer, get them all up to 99 and buy the cosmetics you want before sending more stuff over. I still have to explore how payouts work for tourneys, if it requires a buy in, etc

Iâm going to play this game pretty solidly for 2 years at least so I figure Iâll have plenty of time to buy the dumb outfits, already got an umbrella hat so what else truly could I need?

It covers their server costs, provided they are leasing space from someone who REALLY loves to play this game, so much so that he accepts payment in VC.

Playing the second (maybe third) event in the Career. The one at Pinehurst. I was +5 after the first round and tied for 100th. I am now +3 on 8 of the second round and tied for 1st.
Is there some sort of adaptive computer difficulty that I am unaware of? What the hell happened to the field?!

Daybreak Classic. Shot +8 for the tournament and finished in 2nd. Weird as hell.
Not sure, I canât find any settings related to dynamic opponent skill or difficulty, just either the presets or the percentage.
