SEASON 22 - WEEK 6 UPDATE - Tourist Sauce Aus II: Electric Boogaloo
Hopefully it was enjoyable to play a course featured recently on Tourist Sauce!
Individual flight winners:
- Young Hitters: @kmart796 takes advantage of Scottie Blake taking a week off to get a W
- C-Suite: @Davifuego and @bert tied, and had the exact same scores in all rounds which we normally use as the tie break. You two let me know how you want to decide it, I can give you a playoff round/course settings and you can post your scorecards here if you want to do a 1 round playoff.
- Strapped: @Jeff_M is back. I may have failed all the way to CC-B after promoting up to the Kinetic Tour on TGCT, but at least I’m in very mid on the Refuge Tour. Being bumped up to C-Suite.
- LPCP: @justmuckit completes the hat trick and will bump to take my old spot in Strapped
Flight movement is locked for the remainder of the season. Will take a look at possibly re-flighting before a new season or if 2K announces the new game we’ll figure things out from there. No news yet but I expect something coming out this fall if they maintain the 2 year dev cycle. New game means all new qualifying.

Shhedule for the week
Fantasy course number two for the season is up, at Jurassic Park. designer bbusbri08 has some fantastic work in the game for various fiction settings such as Middle Earth, Hogwarts, and many others. Jurassic Park is a favorite of mine, and there are tons of easter eggs hidden around the course. Sadly 2K did not allow for live dinosaurs in game, so the event had to be called We Spared Some Expense.

Sounds good! Give me a bit of time to wrap up work for the day, I will find a course and settings for both of you to play as time allows this week.
This is my fault. I had like a 10 footer on 18 that would have gotten me to -35 and won the tiebreaker. Ugh.

No demotions unless circumstances are dire.
That said I think a full re-flight is in order after this season, will be based on strokes gained for the best 50% of rounds played, with a minimum of 24 rounds played. If that minimum isn’t met then it will be at my discretion, if the scores are consistent enough we can probably still use the handicap, if not then the player(s) in question will likely stay in whatever flight they are currently.

Honestly I could stream a private match, 2K supports cross-play although I’ve never tried it. @Davifuego and @bert let me know if you’re interested and we can discuss setting up a day/time. In the meantime I’d have to figure out Discord audio integration to a stream assuming everyone wants to be on mics, but it shouldn’t be too challenging. Otherwise it will just be me droning on about grass or something.
