It looks like some scores are still missing from the playoff sheet, I’ll let @JBors finalize that when he can get to it, but as of now it looks like things worked as intended with the handicaps.
I also wanted to put the call out to see if anyone would be interested in taking the role of team principal for Aston Martin. We’ll likely be starting the draft in a day or two if we have the new flights sorted out, so if no one wants to take over the reigning champions we’ll just be down a team. @serwin you want to see if any current Aston players are interested?

And with that, we have the final results for our newly revamped Butt Cup Playoffs.
@DetroitGolfer19 (LPCP) won the event with net -22 (gross -20). His gross score was good enough to beat a few folks in Strapped and C-Suite for the event, so definitely well deserved.
@seattlezero93 (YH - Sponsors Invite) narrowly came in second with a net -20 (gross -31).
@jsg_nado (Strapped) and @duffing_in_detroit (LPCP) finished tied for third with net -18.
@Enorma-Stitts and @BlakeG expectedly finished tied for low gross.
Next Season:
I think it is safe to say the handicap system actually worked out really well. We had 3 flights represented in the top 3 and scores were relatively close.
I think we will for sure expand the playoffs to be 3, potentially 4 rounds next year to throw a little more variability into the scores.
We also will have REAL PRIZES to award for top 3. I don’t want to get out over my skis, but there has been talks of gift cards to a certain small shop that ships out of Utah.
I will get out ahead of people asking about sandbagging - you have to finish top 3 in your flight to get into the playoffs, which in turn will lead you to have to play as best as possible to actually get in. Handicaps will reset every season so you also can’t tank one year to try and mess with the averages across seasons.
Anyone who creates a tab is auto disqualified from the playoffs.
