I’ll be setting one up in the next couple of hours AKA as soon as I walk downstairs to vacuum.

Refuge Tour Announcement
We are pleased to announce we are officially a real Tour that plays for shop credit. Courtesy of @ChickPhilA and the NLU Pro Shop, we will have shop credit prizes for the top three finishers in the playoff event next season. Huge shoutout to her and the NLU team for making this possible.
Additionally, we will be adding the Refuge Invitational Tournament (RIT), which will take place after the playoff and will be open to any player who didn’t qualify for the playoffs but who played a minimum of 7 events for the season (out of 10). The winning prize for the RIT, again courtesy of the Pro Shop, will be a Precision Pro Ace Speaker.
Additionally additionally, we will have the Refuge Incentive/Impact Program (RIP), which is a season-long opportunity to win a small prize pack that may include a towel, stickers, tees, or similar. This definitely involves an algorithm that not even Meltwater could understand, so we welcome your participation in all events as well as in this thread.
Full details for the upcoming season will be in the main information post once it’s time to kick things off.

The “Dustin Johnson Pre-season Pro Am” is live on Xbox. Hosted by seasonal local Dustin Johnson, this pro am at the Golf Club at Black Rock in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho has some fantastic, but windy conditions on days 1-3. Unfortunately, some rain blows in on day 4, softening the course a bit, making it scoreable in the final round.

(and if you have any course feedback, let me know as I designed it based on a real life course in CdA, ID that Dustin Johnson was known to frequent prior to the completion of Gozzer Ranch)

Unlike the PGA Tour, we have a vastly superior product and we know it. Any defectors will be back. The setting changes, new flighting system, and new playoff system are all coming together.

Yes, swing timing on and Pro swing difficulty. This has been in the works for a bit. I wasn’t gonna bog down the thread with a ton of announcements and instead just do it all in the S16 info post when we’re getting ready to start

Glad I fired up the test event!
OMG you weren’t kidding. Like 80% of my swings were red slows.
Then the rando red fast, for shits and giggles.
I’d like to announce my brief retirement for season 16. Been great to jump back in and be a contender the last few seasons, but my video game time will be almost non-existent over the next month, so I’ll be back for season 17.
(also hoping we get rid of swing timing again cuz i’m a two-pack of ass with that on)

For anyone who doesn’t like swing timing, here’s the thing: we all suck with swing timing on. While your individual event score might be like 10-15 shots higher than before with swing timing off, you’ll have a better chance of winning something with swing timing on because the score dispersion will be smaller/lower.
