I am going to create a breakaway EA League with a super complex and convoluted spreadsheet but then immediately run it into the ground. It will be so broken that no one will want to take it on.

Iā€™ve mentioned this in the video game thread too, but I expect (hope) 2K will maintain the best multiplayer/online experience. EA will likely have the better single player career mode. I just hope EA doesnā€™t run 2K out of the golf game space immediately like they tend to do with competitors, as of now I donā€™t see a reason weā€™d switch games for our Tour here.

EA will have 10 courses that are playable at launch and then all the other career mode courses will be dlc

Just played my first round with swing timing back on. I canā€™t believe we ever went away from it to begin with, but I will say with it back on it really illustrates how pampered fucks we had become.

Iā€™ll go so far as to say we should go to Master with swing timing on, and Iā€™m a bottom of the standings Strapped player.

Master with swing timing is really pushing it in terms of enjoyability - I think TGCTours initially had master with swing timing and moved to pro since it was proving to be very temperamental with red swings all over the place

Yeah, Pro is definitely the sweet spot for Swing Timing. Doesnā€™t make it completely so even if you get a red fast/slow, you still have a good chance at recovering from it
