I’m still thinking 2K21 will be the superior online/multiplayer experience, given the catalog of custom courses. Remains to be seen if EA will have any sort of course designer, but even if it does it’ll take a few months after launch to get a good amount of quality courses built up since the game engines are totally different and nothing will be able to be ported over.

I agree. My question was a jackass response to the some of the comments about the things that 2K gets so wrong. I haven’t played my official rounds yet, but I did do a practice round in the round 2 conditions and never had more than a 21 MPH wind. Now I’m seeing, hey, you may get all the way to 30 MPH. That, along with the ridiculous drop rules, personally the gameplay for the current game has gotten very stale.
I’ve likely played this game more than any other game in the last 20 years, so eventually it’s going to get boring, so I recognize it’s a me problem.

no way they do a course designer, gives way too much content for free. They will release famous courses as individual dlc for $$$ each.

Agreed, or they crack down even harder on copyright stuff/RCRs. 2K at least hasn’t deleted courses from their servers, sure searches are censored and some courses have to be named funny things to stay searchable, but for the most part they’ve done what they could to satisfy the lawyers and also keep the content there for the players.

Could be! Start of a new season usually sees a decent influx of new players too. We may have the mega-playoff for spots coming out of LPCP at the end of the season and promote more players.

Refuge Tour Communications
Players, with the increased participation on Tour it has been determined that we are now able to expand team rosters. After the current event is finalized and scored and weekly team trades are finalized, we will be adding another Strapped and another LPCP roster spot to each team. In order to fill these new spots, we will do a snake draft starting with the last place team (after I update the standings). I’ll kick this off tomorrow evening after I finish sorting things out with the spreadsheet and the new rosters will be in place for event 4 (event 3 will continue with the current rosters).
The stipulation here is that each of the new spots will have to start a minimum of 3 times for the remaining 5 events. Remember, the starts are tied to the roster spot on the team, not the individual player.
Players, this is your opportunity to appeal to the principals if you want to be drafted, but your scores speak the loudest. If you’ve not been playing and posting scores, don’t expect to be drafted unless you can somehow convince a team to take a chance on you.
