NO. You want spikes if you’re climbing thru dried out fescue. It is notoriously slippery!
Flights are booked baby!
As much as I would love to confirm a replay, I am just very unsure at this point.
It’s a trick question! 36 at Chambers is not the smart play.
Is this golf course on Mt Ranier?
Honestly. How bad of a walk is it?
I’m fully expecting there to be a chafing issue
Free replay @ Chambers? Oh, I’m in.
It’s a walk. Few holes especially will inevitably leave my fat ass sucking some major wind. I’m implementing a new exercise regimen just so I can remain firmly vibing the entire weekend.
I’ve played some courses that are a much more taxing walk, but not many. Do yourself a favor— indulge in the local vibe scene and bring some IBs and Tiger Balm. Alternatively, I’m down on some porch beers and baseball games instead of a replay. I’m easily peer pressured and could go either way.
I was chafing at birth, pal. I will come well prepared.
I’m missing out on Sundaybag!??!

@sundaybag If i can do it you can do it. We aren’t flying to Washington to only play 18!
Ill supply the bourbon to help you through the struggle
Edit: an NLU sponsorship with normatec would be greatly appreciated @Tron
Unfortunately, I don’t really have a comp. Any other course I’ve played similar to this, you take a cart. The first time I played Chambers, I didn’t know what to expect, and the next day it felt like I had torn my quads and hammies. On subsequent rounds, after some pre-round stretching routines (think Miguel Angel Jimenez), I’ve been fine. But it has never even crossed my mind to play 36 out there. You walk off 18 desperately looking for that cold beer.
If one can play 36 4 days in a row at Bandon I’m assuming 36 at Chambers is a go right?
No doubt. I love each of those words separately, and especially together.
@LukeBoatright There are three major climbs on the course.
Here are the three drops from said elevation, so you climb up to them playing golf:
This is pretty accurate ![]()
For real, stretching like Miguel Angel Jimenez on the range is encouraged. We will not upload videos of said stretching to The Refuge at all.
Guess I won’t wear my 5" inseams then
My bad! We’re ducks of a feather it seems.
