agree. Tree farm, old barnwell, broomsedge, solina not up for consideration since they didnt make the rankings yet. but they will
I actually quite like Congaree and Yeamans. Mostly agree on everything else.
Oak Tree National outside of OKC would like everyone to acknowledge the blatant plagiarism of its logo - which is based on an actual tree on the course.
Iâm gonna need someone more knowledgeable on the logo origins to expand on this, they are literally the same. Iâm seeing that Kiawah Island Resort first opened also in 1976 but obviously the Dye Ocean Course wasnât built until the 90s, so I donât know when they adopted the tree logo
I maybe donât have it pixel perfect but this is the Oak Tree logo (pulled from their website) overlaid on top of the Kiawah one (pulled from their FB page)
It was formerly owned by Landmark Land co., which also owned (or owns, idk) Oak Tree National.
I see, so itâs âfor the brandâ or something. Thanks for educating me on that, bit of a shame they didnât at least do an original logo for their most high profile property
lol I honestly didnât know of the connection, I should have realized when I saw them side by side in almost identical colors
Well it is overrated. Cool concept, but the execution is a bit mid. There are way better logos.
Kingsley Logo is one of my favorites. I think the Loop logo is strong as well.
This looks like the logo outside a suburban office complex.
I believe National is owned by a very high net worth individual currently. I think Oak Tree CC is owned by a group called Invited
Club Locations (invitedclubs.com)
Congaree logo slaps. Hard.
Agreed! No words or numbers is
Is there a worse logo than Secession?
Canât tell you how many times people ask what the A stands for.
Maybe the old Secession logo?
Or is it good and isnât #problematic b/c of the historical ties of Beaufort, SC.
Yeah, thatâs about as bad as a logo can get right there.
Bad name, bad logo. Course looks really cool though.
