Had to remove myself from the list unfortunately, forgot that we’ve got tickets to see Justin Willman in Royal Oak that night and I don’t think I’d have any shot of making it back in time. Next man up!

Not yet. Still working out a few details, but I haven’t had to put anything down yet, so no worries there. Like I said, trying to keep it to $100 or less, which I think is doable, depending on a couple things that are pending

He’s a magician/comedian, which wouldn’t normally interest me, but he had a show on Netflix for a couple seasons called Magic for Humans that my wife and I loved. I’d encourage everyone to check it out

I’m gonna have to pull myself off the list - fortunately/unfortunately we qualified for mixed (curling) nationals. It doesn’t directly overlap, but, it’s pretty soon after coming home and I’m gonna need some lay-low time.

I gotta say, possibly the coolest reason for a pull out. Always wanted to give curling a try but the place near me that has open house hours to try it is at an hour that like only retirees can attend

Where at? Every club is different in that (ie: my home club Detroit does like 3 or 4 “open” sessions a year outside of the 3 weekend learn to curl, but, you can rent the ice whenever), but most clubs want to get people out and involved. One of these days I’ll get something setup for FCF/adjacent

I’m guessing probably Mayfield. It’s a nice club, interesting if they aren’t doing open stuff at good hours. Worst case grab a group and go rent a sheet for a couple hours and try it out hah
