To be clear, I’m organizing Stanley’s for Saturday. Right?

Checkin is at 3pm on Friday and checkout is at 11am on Sunday. They will likely be able to get us in sooner than 3pm though.
They have the room list so they will have each persons room, golf, and food bill for you when you arrive to make checkin smooth.
Is the Friday afternoon practice round included in our four round package?
You betcha.
With the golf package we have vs. a la carte (though depending on where you are staying), you get close to a full round of golf for free.

Very willing to help with the cooking and/or a Costco run. However, apartment living keeps me running a pretty lean operation and I do not have much in terms of grilling tools so if someone can make sure we’ve got those we’ll be good.
I’ll pick up some charcoal, but does anyone have a chimney to use for lighting them? Much more consistent than drenching the coals in lighter fluid.
36 Texans collaborating on a single grilling operation has more potential for serious conflict than the entire weekend of golf.
The one and only weekend group trip I’ve done to PD, my 165 lb buddy somehow hoisted his large BGE into the bed of his truck by himself and drove it from Midland. That level of commitment is kinda where I set the bar for those in charge of the meat. No pressure.

Ok, brief Saturday meal update. Stanley’s was overbooked for Saturday and can’t deliver. I’m not planning on driving, so I called a place a little bit closer. He’s getting me a final quote, but he’ll deliver at 6pm on Saturday, and it’s basically all the same stuff - brisket, pork, chicken, potato salad, green beans and pinto beans, iced tea, mini pies for dessert, and cups/plates/forks/ice.
Maybe if you’re lucky you can stop at Dickey’s.

Planning on making a Costco run tomorrow, can pick up chicken breasts, steaks, burgers, you name it. Might even get some Blue Bell ice cream too.
In hindsight, I should’ve stayed on site and just not told my in-laws I would be close. I’m really wishing I was going to be there Friday night with y’all.
