You might get lucky and find the hotel has USB ports in the wall sockets. Some do. Some don’t. Adapters are cheap and available though. The hotel probably sells them.
I’m 15 minutes from St Andrews and my Birthday is April…
Let’s see what happens.
Just saw this
So NLU crew is doing Scotland and Bandon within like 2 weeks?
Dedicated to the craft
Not all heroes wear capes
Heading to Scotland is a literal life highlight and the NLU boys are just jetting off to Bandon afterwards
Looking forward to catching up with the lucky 36 for a beer or something in St Andrews in April
We’re trying to organise 5mph winds and 20°c, but at Andrews said it was extremely unlikely.
We’ll keep trying
I’ll take the 20*c and let the winds blow.
The sad fact is it will likely be 10° and blowing a hoolie.
So no rain?? I’ll take it.
Shit, forgot about that.
Surely you’ve all bought new Galvin Green waterproofs and be wanting to test them out?!
Nope, I love the weather, I’ll walk and carry in the shit any day. Gives me an excuse for my lack of game.
How sick would that be!! Hope to catch up with you there!
Any good recs on exchanging Dollars for Pounds? Should I do it before I leave, do it at the airport or hit a cash machine for a withdrawal once I arrive in Scotland?
Craic on.
ATM is usually the easiest option when traveling.
Come find us for a pint or 6!
To be honest most people just pay for everything by card these days. Spent a week in Dubai last week and never touched a Dirham. Been in the US since Monday and not seen a dollar (though I did get caught out at a toll road yesterday when they only took cash!).
You will need cash if you want to tip a caddie though
Dam right !
I’m a tipper and believe in spreading it around. Problem with ATM’s is they give larger denominations and I like 5’s and 10’s to share. I will use CC for most everything but always try and use currency for tipping.
