NLU Pro Shop (Part 2)

I do hang all of my polos and long sleeve things but on things like cotton long sleeve/short sleeve shirts how do you prevent the little bumps that form from the hanger?

Doesn’t really affect golf polos, QZs, hoodies, etc but it’s very noticeable on t shirts.

I personally can’t wait to talk to my wife about these tips and tricks she needs to implement.

lay flat to dry

Get some large towels, put them out on a table or on a bed, lay the sweaters/sweatshirts on them to dry overnight.

Or get a stackable sweater drying rack like this:

Or get a drying rack and hand them on the drying rack like this

or get hangers that you can put shoulder savers on for drying like these.

Tumble dry for 5-10 minutes to get rid of wrinkles

Hang dry inside out

The agitation of outsiding them back out does a good job of breaking up the stiffness. Or you can put them in the dryer for a bit again like @Godmar said.

This will be mine.

I’ve been found out. Everyone use as much soap as possible please…. That’s better for my golf budget :innocent:

Tumble dry 5 mins to get rid of wrinkles? What is that magic? :joy:

That works for me with golf polos but never regular tee shirts.

It doesn’t completely get rid of them but it’s pretty good.

Great choice as I just ordered the same items. Pocket tee + the mock neck. Arriving tomorrow and can’t wait to check them out.

Using indoor clothes lines instead of advanced machines to dry your clothes. The world is healing itself.

I have the butterfly style drying rack from above and its great. Versatile, lots of space but closes down easy.

I just use hangers all over the laundry room, anywhere else I can hook one, drape over the back of kitchen chairs etc, works great.

*This method is not wife approved.

We have something like this for hangers (golf polos). Folds up into the wall.

I am laundry guy in my house because I f’ing hate when clothes shrink etc. Bit of a laundry psycho…all shirts and pants get hung on the 2 laundry racks I have…never any shrinkage and last way longer.

I’ve got two drying racks in the basement for a lot of my shirts and the like that don’t go in the dryer, and we have a clothes line hung on the floor joists too, if there’s ever overflow. I always put the stuff in the dryer on low for a out 20 minutes once it’s dry though, to soften it up.

I truly did not know there were this many people flouting the modern convenience of a dryer. Should I start air drying all of my clothes???

I have something beefier than that but it works fantastically. I drip dry all my polos and hoodies.

I started using a drying rack for pants, because I tend to shrink most of them in the dryer, and my nicer golf shirts to try and make them last longer.
