I do it primarily because I don’t want anything shrinking from the desired size that I want. It’s probably excessive but it’s what I do
We air dry approximately half of our laundry. Old t-shirts, pajamas, undies, towels, sheets, and socks get the dryer. Everything else is hang dry.
SAAAAAAMMMMMMMEEEEEEEE
Cold wash with light detergent, cold tumble dry, fold fresh out of the dryer.
No problems.
I buy new t-shirts each year for basketball season (including in a couple weeks) and I feel like I get to wear them once and then they shrink and they’re too short. Is this probably just a case of needing to air dry them?
Yes.
Wait, you people are still wearing cotton shirts and pants?
I do the exact same thing… also use wool dryer balls as they seem to help things dry quicker, but never had issues with shrinkage or discoloration beyond expected with wear.
Of course not.
Just got my first Rhoback hoodie from NLU. Very impressed! The USD to CAD conversion hurts but everything from the Pro Shop has been legit so far. Ordering was a bit anxiety inducing as I was in between sizes on the sizing chart, but it worked out. Kudos to the whole merch team!
Love to hear that!
For the record I dry all of my clothes and they never shrink (unless 100% cotton). Ijs. Yes bragging camp rules
Yeah same here. The real benefit to hang drying is the damage reduction as @ChickPhilA mentioned.
I’ve noticed with a few of the H&B shirts I have threads pilling or something of the like. I’m assuming it’s not helped by the dryer.
Got my first subtle dog logo tops from the fall collection.
Good lord. They’ll be getting a lot of wearing. Just gutted the pumpkin/orange one was out of stock when I wanted it!
Cotton is a great material
Cotton is great for towels and tablecloths.
