The heathered grey was too good for me to pass up, it’s gonna be a staple fall piece for me that’s super versatile.

$175 for a golf sweater seems a bit much, no? And don’t @ me with “you don’t have to buy it.” It doesn’t seem like a good value.

15% off made it $150. And I’ve spent more on worse. And I’ll wear it quite a bit to work too. 
Edited to add: value is different for everyone. $1,200 shoes doesn’t seem like a good value but the Kardashians may think otherwise.

I’m in the same boat as you. It’s gotten to the point where the cost is beginning to outweigh the quality in my eyes.
I understand H&B is great quality. But at that price point? I start to look elsewhere.

What size suit jacket do your wear?
As a 42 short, I’m always stuck between Medium and Large in every brand, and depending on where I’m at on being in shape skew from more to one side or the other.
I went with the Large in the Sullivan but generally prefer a snug fit.
I’m a 42 short and wear a medium in nearly everything H&B except the Betts sweater and I wear a large in it.

I totally get that $150-175 is expensive for a sweater. But we’re also on a message board that we pay $90 a year for. The value of things is always subjective.

Fair, but I don’t think of my $90 as going towards the message board. I think of it as funding content I enjoy and an organization I support. I perceive that as value, which I guess is the broader point: we all perceive value differently. Mine just isn’t in a branded golf sweater

I scooped up a clearance ward sweater a few weeks back for $97 after the discount. That was definitely more palatable than the one I bought this week 
Happy to support the squad here because I can this time around, but totally get that lots of folks are priced out of some of these newer items.
