And raise your seat!

This!
I was doing the weekly ride when the class video froze. I could still follow cadence/resistance and since I was on a PR ride I kept going. The final output from the freeze is different compared to the bike output (368 vs 238). What happens from here? On my prior ride, I also had a freeze which I fixed by restarting the bike mid-ride. Has anyone had this problem? Reddit says to clear the cache.
30 minute PR today with Encanto for my 50th ride. I’m not even embarrassed. You ride to Surface Pressure and see if it doesn’t get you going, haha.
I’ve had the bike for about a year now. Admittedly slacked hard during the second half of 2021, but just finished the Build Your Power Zones program and, for me, it was a great way to get back into it. I can see how some could find it boring as you’re just holding set outputs for time, but I’ve noticed a significant improvement since starting the program.
That entire soundtrack slaps. Solidarity.
You had too much in the tank at the end, you should ‘t be able to spike that much to close an ftp test. Learning how to do the test is tough
Wilpers had the last 30 s of each of the last 3 mins out of the saddle, hence the giant spikes. Probably should have just stayed in and hammered on cadence.
In the FTP test he was asking to get out of the saddle? That’s crazy pants
Right? Of all the instructors (besides Christine) I figured he’d be the last to offer it
I just take the same Denis FTP test so I can more easily compare them on MPaceLine but good to know to avoid that from Matt (I’d just ignore that advice anyway).
I did the Dennis Eminem ride today and absolutely loved the playlist and ride itself! Also kicked off crush your core 2. From looking at the schedule it looks like it is fewer, longer, more intense workouts than crush your core 1.
So the creaking noises are definitely the handlebar/screen sliding mechanism any time I put pressure on the handlebars. Not sure why it’s doing it since the tightener is firmly tightened. Might have to ping Peloton for answers. Seems like I’m able to wiggle the mechanism a little too much, too, for a piece that’s supposed to be snug.
Anyway, Denis rocks.
Did the Mayla indie rock ride this morning. Great playlist and a challenging ride. Some great tracks from the 00’s. Really admire someone that can do that sort of thing in a language that isn’t their native one.
Still firmly an Alex Toussaint fan, but I am realizing that the couple Kendall rides I’ve done lately (namely the pop punk one posted last week in the here) have kicked my ass even more. I set a PR on that one, and while it was definitely due in part to the great soundtrack, I think the climbs just had me raking in kj.
Alex’s rides are always good, but I noticed that even when I’m at the top of the resistance and cadence he’s asking for, I’m still not quite really coming close to my Kendall ride scores.
Kendall’s rides are generally harder than ATs.
I used to take the approach of always being 10 above the highest resistance in a given range. I’ve noticed more instructors offering ranges of 15-20 now. And in those cases it seems like I don’t ride above the ranges as much, so I’ve changed to riding at 20 resistance above the lowest of the range.
I think club bangers tends to be the easier of ATs rides too.

Kendall is the best. Welcome to the club.
