Anyone experience an issue when you get into 100 cadence you hear a clicking or faint knocking either in the wheel or crank? I can’t really tell where it’s coming from. Doesn’t seem to affect performance, it’s just annoying.

I would pay an extra $5/mo for the instructors current output. I understand that they’re going to stop and start, I definitely couldn’t talk the whole time and ride as hard as I try to… but at least when they’re calling out some impossible combo and then pretending like they’re doing it too.

Did a peloton class every single day in January. It wasn’t always a ride, there were a lot of days where it was just a stretching class as I ride outdoor, run or row as well. After my stretch this afternoon it’ll be 1450 minutes for the month. How ya’ll doing?

I’ve always thought about this as well. I am mostly joking, because every single instructor is in better shape than I have been or will ever be, but I always kinda laugh when I am doing a ride (mostly been Alex) and he isn’t pedalling at all and is shouting out some numbers that are extremely difficult.

That said, sometimes I find the higher cadence, out of the saddle climbs to be almost impossible. I’ve got the bike fit to me and everything, but almost from a balance perspective. I can never seem to go too quickly, and I really don’t think it’s an issue of the resistance being too high, either.

Out-of-the-saddle intervals are easier with extra resistance, otherwise it’s a challenge to remain stable. Also, fair bit of core strength required to sort of “float” while you ride.

Sounds like your ball bearings might need to be replaced. Same thing happened here a couple months ago. I sent Peloton a video and they had somebody out two days later to replace them.

this was exactly my thought, and I’ve definitely noticed an improvement going through the CYC program a couple times.

The thing I will say is that at least Alex sweats during his rides unlike the majority of the instructors out there.

If you join the annual challenge you can see your minutes by checking the challenge. That’s the only way I know about.

Got to 1370 mins after this morning’s workout. Set a goal to average 1100 mins a month this year so off to a good start.

If you log into your account on the Peloton website, go under “my membership” and then “profile” and then “workouts” you can download all of your classes as .csv file. You can then filter by month or use a pivot table to get a bit of analysis.

I did Kendall’s Eminem boxing class on Saturday afternoon (shoutout suburban dad) and I haven’t been this sore in a while. My shoulders literally feel like they are going to fall off and I had trouble picking up my kids. Sick!

even better is the wife asked me to start CYC program with her, so I’m just starting week 4 of my program, but I get to start week 1 of hers at the same time.
