Do not go look at my post history in this thread from 3ish months ago. Nothing to see

My first ride is in the books. Only a 20 min ride but that was tough. Immediately bought a box fan after the ride lol.

Great first rides for the new guys!

I saw that Emma 45 min ride and could tell by the playlist that she means business for that one. Will need to rest up for that one! I don’t know if I can handle an Emma and Kendall 45 min ride in the same week, but you only live once. Let’s go!

I was able to get a new PR off that Tunde Climb! Thanks to @tnord for the thought of trying to get an average output above 300.

Next goal 550.

PR!

of course, it’s easy when it’s your 2nd ride ever lol.

I’ll get some more rides in before I spam the thread with my next PR.

Getting back into the zone. The power zone lol.

Getting used to these rides again after the summer off of them (and before the next PZP challenge).

Did some legs/glutes and core strength afterwards and now my legs are gonna fall off.

@Bmich97do and @yungloudancolin are the only two brave enough for this one. I wasn’t feelin it today but did it for the 2nd time anyway.

I’m sure y’all can handle it once.

1 - PR by a lot (Probably bc I never do 45 minute rides)
2 - Didn’t hate the music as much as I thought I would… but I almost unclipped when that Skrillex remix of Kendrick Lamar’s Humble came on. What a disgrace.
3 - High five from @tnord is always some great motivation.

Really been enjoying the new “strive” score with the HR data from the whoop. Nice way to compare output versus just KJ

Survived this weeks ride yesterday. Only saw stars once. Haven’t always been a huge fan of 45ers but I definitely have been adding more longer rides into the mix much more often. Enjoyed the soundtrack more than I was expecting. I really thought I was gonna get closer to 500 kj but I really needed those 2 flat rode tracks she mixed in. But, still PR’d by a few kJ. Will add to the above PR Parade. Good ride @tnord.

  1. It’s a tough ride. Both times I’ve taken it I’ve been ahead of PR pace half way through but can’t finish it off.
  2. I’m not a skrillex fan either, but the track hit hard and matched up with the class. I mainly picked this one because I thought Kendall was on her game, and figured people would get some PRa out of it. It definitely challenged me.
  3. Nice to see you join in when I was about 1/3 the way.

Those two 45sec efforts at 85/75 were rough. She gave the long 5 count and I was petering out not able to hold cadence anymore.

Even if you’re not into the EDM stuff, it matches Kendall, and her classes well I think.

Kendall and Alex are a lot alike as instructors.

Hopping on the PR train. Had a few laugh out loud moments at Kendall trying to be metal, but the playlist was pretty good, minus the drowning pool.

Thanks for the guilt trip/peer pressure @tnord I was just going to do a 20 minute ride and a core workout tonight but you guilted me into the weekly ride. Not a PR but a damn good ride. :beers:

I got on a Low Impact ride last night as I bounce back from a cold and thought it was a good one to pass on since there’s a bunch of newish folks in the thread. On some of Denis and Matt’s Low Impact rides they do pedaling technique drills, which were a big help for me when we got the bike last year. With the weather turning I’ll be spending more time indoors on the bike and I thought it would be a good refresher. Plus good music from Denis as always!

Taking a 10 day vacation and then coming back to this was not joke.

I came here to post this same ride. I did this recovery ride and thought the technique portion of the ride was great. Highly recommend. I’m looking forward to getting back into the weekly rides after my son’s tennis season is over.
