I’d never even heard of either before I got the Peloton but I see you all over our leaderboards and I’d bet you would enjoy the results if not the slog of some of the classes (performance rides can be somewhat boring). FTP tests are anything but boring, but it’s always good to spend 20 minutes leaving it ALL on the bike.
had my 2nd shot this morning…getting sleepy. I need to knock out a class sooner rather than later or it might not happen.
I get my second later today. Figured if symptoms hit me hard, I’ve got the couch and Masters this weekend.

Anddddddd the fiancé has two nursing shifts this weekend so I’m free to do absolutely nothing.
I also have shot 2 tomorrow morning. Should work out perfectly to spend the afternoon on the couch. Not intentionally planned this way but it is a welcome coincidence.
I got the Pfizer deal and scheduled shot 2 around Friday of the NCAAT. Felt a little off all day after getting it, but never really anything else. My wife on the other hand got knocked off her feet. Either way, use it as an excuse to do nothing.
That is the plan. My wife had her second last week and it knocked her out for a day and a half. I plan on taking it verrrrrry easy no matter what.
Just got our Peloton delivered! The wife and I are very excited to try our first workouts!

Moderna dose 2 yesterday morning, did a decent but not great ride last night, woke up with slight headache that turned into intense chills as the day went on. Really perfect timing to get to work from home again and not have to watch coverage in the office. Hoping I can at least get a low impact ride in tomorrow to help get past the sick feeling

With Peloton adding a new instructor I thought this would be a good time for everyone to give him a try. It seems like a couple guis have already done a ride with Bradley but I nevertheless nominate Bradley’s 30 Min HIIT and Hills Ride from 4/11/21. @ChickPhilA please update the title when you have a chance.

I think I’m going to go through the “Mastering the Basics” 6 week program first.
I’m totally late to the party, but after my first ride I can understand why folks like this thing.
After you finish the basics, strongly recommend the “Intro to Power Zone training” program. It’s great to learn how to spin more efficiently and effectively. Learn the good habits early to make for pushing yourself in a few months a lot less strenuous on the joints.
Did the Bradley ride this AM. Liked his vibe.
Excited about the Denis White Stripes ride that drops tonight.
First time doing the Refuge ride. Also first time taking a Bradley class. Really like this concept and excited to participate with this crew in the future.
Sorry to be that guy but yeah - wasn’t feeling this instructor or the music. Had some trouble locking in.
Side note - this was the first time I used the heart rate monitor does anyone know if the numbers from the monitor factor into your final output number?
They do not - output is just resistance and cadence. It will factor into your calories burned which is a much more subjective metric and another discussion altogether
Took a CDE Power Zone Endurance ride just now because the first few songs looked great. Was in the mood for some 90s rock. Ride was fine, but the music got worse and worse for my tastes. The last song for the final push was the Indigo Girls who my wife and many others really like but isn’t exactly “push it over the finish line” music. So to ignore it I tried to think of what song or artist could possibly be worse. And I settled on “What’s Going On?” by 4 Non Blondes, maybe the worst song of that decade.
Yep, that was the next cool-down song.
