Taking Mary Earps energy into range sessions would make the range a better place

Earps is a legend.

I asked my golf pro what to say… and he said just tell them that you have a golf pro. And he also said that women get more unsolicited advice so don’t feel guilty. He’s usually super polite but I loved that he added the extra line about all the extra unsolicited advice.

Earps is tops and there are also a lot of great goalkeepers out there. Women’s futbol is on fire.

Late to the thread, but my response in these scenarios is always “oh wow, buddy. Are you a PGA pro? ‘No? Then I don’t want your inputs. I only take advice from PGA professionals. Thanks though.”

I usually get a “whatever, bitch” mumbled under their breath or they just look at me puzzled. But works every time. :woman_shrugging:t3:

The best is when I was playing at 8 months preggo and homeboy tried to comment how I would be so much better if I rotated more. Dude. You try rotating fully with a 15 pound medicine ball strapped to your midsection. Oh and I went on to win the event (bogey golfer here and can usually get things done in net events :woman_shrugging:t3:)

Moral of the story — THEY CANT HELP THEMSELVES. Like most things in life, if we want your help/inputs. We will ask!

Keep with your process.

Thoughts on starting a remote No Laying Up ladies putting group? I’m close to Thistle Dhu at Pinehurst and UNC Chapel Hill just created an 18 hole course modeled after St Andrews. I know there are other large practice greens out there… we could have a logo and get hats/ towels made? Just a thought. Requirement would be to play 4 competitive rounds a year with someone or with your group?!?! Let me know…

Hi ladies! I’ve recently gotten back into the game after a long hiatus. Had my first ace today and am totally hooked on golf (and a devout NLU listener), so I thought I’d mosey on over here and #getinvolved.

So glad to find this thread and see that I’m in good company!

Thank you! I got back into it after moving from DC to a part of Florida where a golf membership is affordable and accessible. Now I have a group of ladies to play with regularly! I also really got bit by the bug watching Full Swing. That’s how I went down the pro golf rabbit hole and ended up finding NLU  Happy to join all of you here!

I love seeing the popularity of this thread ! My GF was working somewhere she wasn’t happy and I offered her the choice to come work on course with me and she has taken such a liking to it that she’s not only taken up the game in a much more serious way but has also decided to peruse becoming a Super as her career path.

I’m currently in the stage of convincing her that the nest membership is worth it for her so she can be another contributor to this awesome thread !

I’ve been going around Marshall’s for a variety of reasons lately, and I found something that is an absolute delight: heatable stuffies.

There’s a removable pouch that you microwave (please don’t stick the actual stuffie in the microwace), and so far the warm has been the best for period cramps and generally just unhappy stomachs. I don’t know how long this has been a thing, but I LOVE it, especially as it’s been cold!

I wasn’t sure which thread to put this in, but I figure here is as good as any!

We used to have one of these with some type of lavender scented beads on the inside for our kid - it was supposedly soothing, I guess? But like so many things, sometimes the biggest benefit is not the initial purpose! (I’m now realizing my daughter is now 15 and maybe could use another one of these…interesting)
