Is @MerchCzar calling Carson “doodle”?!

sounded like everyone was saying it.

Per the instagram it’s “dootle”, and I believe at one point Neil referred to them both as The Dootles. Seems like a nice little term of endearment/nickname.

Just watched this with my wife. Think it got the best compliment possible. My wife said that looks like fun and we should go play golf sometime. Enjoyed it @djpie @MerchCzar @justine.

Seriously. Someone needs to turn heel and become the villain.

Whomever’s significant other hit us with the Bob Parsons “BOOM BABY” off the tee on 5 got an audible laugh out of me.

As someone who calls his oldest daughter “Doodles” I thought it was very cute.

I’ll second this. My wife has just gotten in to golf recently and I couldn’t imagine more perfect golf content. @MerchCzar running back to the cart with a handful of clubs was the most niche relatable thing I’ve seen in my life.

Also I can attest, when getting someone started in the game, alignment is HUGE.

@justine is a fucking stick.

@djpie is my guy, but was an anchor that day.

The Ronald Reagan was sick

My wife was in tears at multiple points from the banter/shanks/tops/alignment issues. All around incredible video that we enjoyed very much. After the shanked 3 wood on 9 my wife looked at me and being completely serious, asked me if DJ plays golf. Sorry Mr. Pie…

My marriage would not survive alt shot. We barely got through a 2 man/woman scramble without wanting to kill each other.

Look, I don’t expect people in other countries to know or care about this, but in Australia “doodle” is what young boys call their penis. I guess that falls away about the time it starts growing hair, so it’s very innocent and childlike, but still gave me a LOL.

More importantly, what a sweet video. I LOVED seeing the affection between the couples on-screen and the lovely vibe. So Hawaii.

Is every video NLU releases this year gonna be the best video I’ve ever watched?

@cfrench and I watched it together last night and both loved it. Lots of spiderman pointing gif and game recognize game moments when playing with your significant other. Absolutely great content @djpie @MerchCzar @justine and a delightful watch. Would be way into more of that.

I’m two thirds of the way through and it’s cuteness overload.

Sweet, wholesome content.

My wife has no interest in playing the game, but I used to love bringing her along to drive the cart and help me drink when we had a club membership before we moved.

@djpie muttering “it was in the models” under his breath after the de-greened putt made me laugh more than I should have.

Wonderful piece of content. Big, big round of applause to Justine and Carson for being willing to go on camera and do this kind of thing.

An aside, how many times now has Kapalua changed the routing of the Bay Course? I will say the benefit of the current configuration is that the two most dramatic (and probably best) holes come at 16 and 17. 16 plays down to the ocean and 17 is a par 3 playing over a bit of the bay. A million years ago when I played it, those were 4 and 5 or something and it was definitely a weird vibe to get to the most dramatic part of the course early and then spend the rest of the day up on the hill among condos. I also feel like there was a time when those holes were on the back nine but not as late in the round as they are now.

Anyway, the resort players gain was our loss as viewers. We can see those holes a bit in some of the drone shots at the beginning, but don’t get to see them played. Oh well.

Also, pro tip when visiting Maui, even if you don’t play the Bay Course, there’s a short walk down the right side of what I guess is now #16 out toward the coast to a very cool point known as Dragon’s Teeth (Makaluapuna Point) where the wind and waves have left the rocks in interesting upswept positions. Cool spot.

Love the big brain play by @djpie to intentionally lose the tee shot so he could flex on everyone with the full white box of pre-release balls.

Mega impressed with both ladies. It makes so much sense that the musically inclined Justine is the tempo queen.
