My absolute favorite is @MerchCzar and @djpie being like “don’t overcomplicate it” then spewing out like 10 swing thoughts as their better halves are standing over the ball. That’s pretty much golf in a nutshell, just out loud.

As a golf dude who is trying to get his wife into golf, I really appreciated this video. Y’all weren’t bro’ey or mansplainey at all, and when Neil DETONATED his third drive in a row everyone took the piss out of him and Neil was like “Did I really sound like that?” and was geniunely hopeful he didn’t. That was great. Neil and the Narc have had a lot of good moments together on camera, but it was such a small, tender, human glimpse; maybe one of the best Neil moments ever even if it’s not as GIF-worthy as some other parts of his canon of obsurdist brilliance.
I play a lot at my local muni where I have a pass/membership, and I play a lot with random people as a single. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve played with couples where the guy trying to get his wife into golf was an IRREDEMABLE KNOB, who had no clue what he was talking about, who irritated/mortified his wife, etc.
Not to be (too) corny, but respect for putting out this piece of content. Not only was it good, and entertaining, but it set a good example. You did a good public service. The golf world needs less assholes.

Haha, the first round on grass in months, with clubs I just took the plastic off, while simultaneously playing, coaching and running production is not a good indicator of many things (other than my shit alignment).
The real story is how good my iron play was! This is what many people are talking about!
