All together though, when it comes down to it. This is going to get miserable in this thread if folks start nitpicking the cost like the Nest membership. If you don’t agree with it, don’t sign up. 50 odd spots won’t be hard to fill and many people will see the time saved cost of coordinating this trip with a few buddies as easily worth the difference in pricing.

The nice people at Bandon will do this for free. At least there was no charge for our group of 12 that they planned all of our tee times, restaurant reservations, and coordinated the shipping of a birthday present and its delivery during dinner.

I think we agree on about 95% of this, as I said, I personally fully understand and accept the difference. At the same time, I think it is a fair question, and I certainly don’t think it is nitpicking

sure. this is where this environment blends between consumer, constituent, and collective of people.
Is the conversation based upon seeing if the provider will adjust their pricing because the consumers have collectively decided the product doesn’t match the good provided? Is it active participants who feel their funds are not being allocated in a fiscally responsible manner? Or is it just a bunch of people around the bar yucking it up over the nitty gritty and if it’s worth it to them.
This is an awful value. I recommend no one apply to the lottery. Thanks!

For me, the value is there. I think it would be a great time, even if I don’t care much for large crowds since I’m such an Old these days.

its there for me as well. I had to cancel Scotland this summer, and the Bandon backup fell thru. A world class golf trip that requires no effort to coordinate sounds glorious and the time off works. Just have to see if I can make it work with the banker. But thankfully have a few months to work on that.
