Wholeheartedly agree there. I will say that you haven’t quite blown me away with a fit (yet) but you’ve also never been below about an 8/10. And IMO your attitude exudes vibe more than your kit, so you pretty much get a pass from me anyway.

@RonniepND, We all played the same course, played thru the same amount of wind. and we all hit to the same pin locations. The high handicappers that we are still excelled on those rounds and played well to score. You should not feel embarrassed and neither should any other player. I am most proud of the fact that Friday afternoon I went over my quota in those conditions. Saturday morning I played with three guys who should have beat me and, had every opportunity too, but I scored when it mattered. I was two under my quota in the final round. I don’t fell scummy and being an higher handicap the law of averages caught up to me in the end and @JCO surpassed me in quota points when it mattered. Maybe I did well because I never expected to get as far as I did and I just focused on having fun, enjoying the company of the people I got to play with, and not taking it too serious. @Privatecollection and the Killhouse boys put on a great event and a lot of that seems to be getting lost in all the excel spreadsheets, Stableford scoring and bickering. Like you Ronnie, I got a lot of support from everyone around us during the final round and the community spirit was as this thread is called-Viiibbiiinnnggg! Hopefully that continues and we can focus on celebrating the positive of what nolayingup is doing for the game we love to play!
