I’m going to have to dig in. So far i have listened to that one track 30 times. Hahahaha.
If my brother and I are at a bar with Touchtunes, this is getting played at least once that night.
Return to Pebble Beach by Mike Stone, the man is a hit machine!
I’m weirdly obsessed with these country versions of pop punk songs
I spent last weekend with my Dad and Step Mom and my Dad has his stereo going all weekend.
Joe Dirt Car was in the changer and it reminds me of being a younger elementary aged kid riding in my Dad’s Isuzu Trooper/Trail Blazer and he had this live album recorded on a tape (I know this was discussed in another thread). I acknowledge some of it is nostalgia but I really like the album and this song stands out to me (and it’s been in my head for a couple days)
this was on the radio and I was promptly reminded how worst it is
This song gets a lot of play in my house because our 3 year olds love it.
Nothing is worse than hearing this right after a Tom Petty song on classic rock radio
VERY underrated drum track. I could fall in the trench he’s created with that large pocket
This whole era of rock is so cringe.
All I can think of when I hear this song.
You know what people say at a phish concert when the pot wears off? Jesus this music blows
Apologies if this has been submitted. But here’s my contribution for the day
Multiple people taking shots at Papa Roach (I like that song ) but no one has said a word about Drowning Pool…
To be fair I think it’s because I’ve mentally blocked a good chunk of that era out of my mind and this song is the only one I still hear in rotation at times. The only ones that seemed to have any staying power from this era was linkin park
As a momentary aside from the main topic: I’m a Foo Fighters fan, but I’ve given the new album several listens and I can’t get into it. The songwriting seems terribly uninspired, and none of the tracks had me thinking about or humming them later. Neither Wasting Light or Concrete and Gold are my favorites, but at least they have their moments. Anyone have different thoughts on Medicine at Midnight?
An amusing follow up.
I recently bought Southern Harmony on vinyl. (cuz I’m cool like that and all).
Double LP. The first of the records has TWO songs per side. TWO!!! The other has 3.
I mean really. What are we even doing here?
