This is just so far the opposite way of how I feel about music, but jesus is that dude talented. I love it. I’ve been watching a bunch of his stuff.
Yeah, I get it. He’s a music geek. So am I. He’s looking at it very analytically, but I think that’s just for the sake of the video. It’s a lesson for drumeo, so I think he’s just trying to show you how to rapid fire learn tunes if you’re in a pinch. He probably could just play the track and jam along and it’d sound damn near as good. You’ll miss hits, but the feel’s there. His timing/phrasing is so fucking good. And he’s just like an endless stream of ideas.

I just honestly cannot believe this song was recorded by adults and released as a single by a label. I think about it all the time. Song is so fucking bad. I included the lyrics because you need to see them to believe them.
