I donāt think about music in this way at all. Music is something I feel in my gut. The ways Lars hits the cymbals on the āupstrokeā isnāt something I have ever thought about, but I can hit every one of them in like 75% of them in Metallicaās catalog because itās just there for me. The way my man here thinks is fucking incredible. I may watch every video heās ever made.
An aside, on a much, much smaller scale, I did this with Sink to the Bottom with the Collective. I listened to it twice and played it off what I felt. Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING to a degree of difficulty like what this dude is doing, but itās incredible to think that we can have a similarā¦ idea, i guess, but his is like genius level shit and me is me grabbing my junk and thinking āyeah, I can fuckinā play thatā.
This is also dope, but I canāt stand music like this. I just like to watch this dude fuckinā play. My man has more skill in his right hand fingers than I do in my whole body.
Almost makes me miss drums, folks. Almost.

Larnellās the fucking man. Iāve seen him a couple times and heās the definition of a world class musician. Dude came out of nowhere with the Snarky gig and now heās a first call guy. Has his own group and does a bunch of session stuff. If youāve never seen this, check it out.
