Here’s a little secret about me: I will fall in love with someone in nanoseconds if they’re musically talented. Bonus points if I feel like they might be a little trashy. So, this is absolutely no surprise to me. But god damn if it didn’t happen again. First song is incredible, rest is good, too.

I very much enjoy that part of her story is that she started off on vocals for a Grateful Dead cover band called 600lbs of sin!, and freighthopping to get around.

Been a huge fan of Hello Meteor’s stuff for years now. Seattle-based electronic chillwave/synthwave. Great for working, long drives or just lowering the blood pressure. Under the umbrella of what I call music for a good “brain float”. So many albums that there’s something for everyone.

My wife got tickets for her tour last year and I went into the show completely blind, was still humming the songs a week later. She seems to have lived quite a life to this point too

i’ll have to do the extended listen this weekend. Really great mix of modern 2025 music but callbacks and trends to the coheed of my high school days. like, it felt like i’ve heard it before in all the right ways, if that makes sense
