The song of the summer feast this year is delicious:
Right Back To It, Can you See Me Tonight, the entire new Liquid Mike album, I’m All Fucked Up, She’s Leaving You
we’re eating good

New Childish Gambino is good. Really good.
My wife and I are trying to figure out if we want to go see Stone Temple Pilots in September at our local concert venue. I am a big STP fan but I just don’t know if it’s the same without Scott Weiland. RIP to him, anyway
Much like Alice In Chains it’s never going to be the same as with Weiland or Staley. But it’s still a pretty good show.
Red Rocks. 2018.
AIC is my favorite band and I’ve actually seen them twice with Duvall. I don’t know if this is fair but I feel like Duvall does a perfect balance of a voice that is kinda similar to Layne at times while still doing his own thing and clearly not doing a Layne impression.
The new guy from STP kinda seems like he may be doing a slightly less grungy version of Weiland, but I may go see them anyway.
They’re playing with Live, who I don’t know much about besides Lightning Crashes. But I’d be going 100% for STP.
It absolutely isn’t a big slight to say that, and that’s an interesting take, I could see it. Maybe I ought to just go. Sometimes I can’t fully gain appreciation for a band’s music until I see them live (no pun intended and their name is very annoying for that reason)
I do love Lightning Crashes, who doesn’t
I’m seeing that show next month.
It’s an anniversary celebration for Throwing Copper (Live) and Purple (STP). Not sure if that means they’ll be playing both albums or just focusing on them. Would be happy to hear all of Purple, for sure.
New Los Campesinos album All Hell is muy bueno!!!
Just found The Red Clay Strays.
The Letterkenny universe is filled with bangers.
Always geek out when they use DFA1979, top 8 live show all time.
