Easily in my top three concerts I’ve ever seen. Small venue and the energy was :100:

I was fortunate enough to see them at The Danforth in Toronto back in '17 on the back of Near to the Wild Heart of Life.

They put on an incredible show. Really hope they tour this fall/winter/spring on the back of the new album

Paramore ‘This Is Why’ album; too much ‘rock’, not enough ‘pop’ for me.

Ahh yes. What’s funny is it was not “rock-y” enough for me (Paramore started as pop-punk, after all) and it grew on me tremendously. Appreciate you doing the work!

Also their album “After Laughter” is significantly poppier than “This is Why”, if you’re bored someday.

If you’re into disco/dance/house, Moon Boots is a beauty.

Likewise, I did not think This is Why was Rock enough for me. This is also who Paramore is now, and I am Still into Them.

This is Why grew on me when I listened to the remix album. Maybe that can be CRJF’s bridge to liking This is Why?

Maybe! I didn’t find anything in the remix album that blew me away, but I also think This Is Why is their best album overall. And I’ve been listening to them since about a month after Riot! came out.

I think Riot! Is still their best. I don’t think I have a single skip on the album. Not putting down any of their other albums but I get a rush of adrenaline listening to that album almost every time

I don’t skip a single song on any of their albums lol. Except maybe down the stretch on the Self Titled, that thing is looooooong. I just think This Is Why is a true masterpiece. The style blending, the mix, the little details are all there. Riot! is a perfect record for 2007 and of course there’s beauty in imperfection, but it’s firmly in that lane and doesn’t stray from it. Brand New Eyes is bangers only too.

Great call. Only thing I’ll say is I like the studio cut of RS, whereas BJ live jams are usually pretty epic.

Can’t disagree with that.

How am I just now learning of Drug Church?

Drug church in a live setting is electric, highly recommend if you can see them in a smaller cap room.

Also, singer has another band called self defense family that you may be interested in.
