iām no really sure if this is the place for this comment, but for the pearl jam fans, Eddie & Jeff were on the Bill Simmons pod. Good listen, but i canāt remember wanting a host to shut up more. for someone whoās been doing interviews so long, Bill really struggled i think with eddieās presence. you could tell he was fanboying, but as Eddie hesitated Bill would jump in to clarify or soften thingsā¦ he shouldāve just laid out and let us hear whatever Ed was about to say. i couldnāt help but think of how @Soly does a better job with golfers/celebs heās probably fans of as well ā so props there. dan patrick always talks about how hard it is to ask a short question and then shut up and let the guest respond, even if there is silence there. wish bill wouldāve done a better job of that. soly itād be a good one to listen to just as interview research/homework!
