Very underrated jimmy song. And very fitting sitting as I teach sped English :joy::joy:

Dad was a massive patriot head. Made sure I had jimmy on my first mp3 player.
He was my first concert ever. Saw him 5 times in concert

I worked at a ski shop when I was 20 that only had every Buffet record on tape. Literally nothing else.
I learned to love Jimmy then.
This was always a favorite and I don’t hear it enough.
RIP

Anyone listening to Garrison Starr? Her ReLive album is unreal

About the only way I can handle a Dream Theater concert these days. In small chunks that I can skip around in on YouTube.

But anyways, Metropolis Pt. 2 - Scenes from a Memory is always pretty good.

Where my 90’s and early 00’s peeps at? Anyone a member or the ten club or warehouse? I’m vibing after a PJ show last night and think $35 per year is worth it to guarantee decent tickets at face value. Is that basically how it works as a member? Do you get your first choice show for tickets?

Zeus - Credo

Zeus have been the best kept secret in my town’s indie music scene for the last 15 years. They just put out their first album in almost a decade.

It’s such a great listen. A little rootsy, Springsteen, 80s synth, and just some good pop songs. Highly recommend.

This is a 12/10 on the catchy song scale. Good stuff from Canadia.

Stone has been playing in my car since I got it on Friday (replacing the newest Foo Fighters offering). It’s a solid album with some similarities to Gold & Grey and nods to prior albums. Not earth-shattering, but good. Eventually I hope they’ll reincorporate some more of the strange progressive movements of their old EPs with the newer, less sludgy, sound.

This song always immediately transports me back to Trader Sam’s at Disneyland. No matter where I am or what I’m doing. It is indelibly tied to that sense memory of discovering that bar.

The National are on a bit of a heater right now. After a few years of nothing new, they’ve dropped 2 albums in the last few months, with the surprise release this week. Both very good.

Been getting more into progressive metal with the help of a buddy who might as well be Viktor Hovland when it comes to music taste. Still absolutely hate the screaming and grunting some bands do. He sent me this which is the instrumental album of a band. Love the instrument, went to the actual song, hated it. But enjoy this much: Spotify
