Yeah im with you…got big into the truckers in college right before blessing and a curse. Ended up seeing them anytime they were around along with whoever else they were recommending or spoke highly of at the time. Exposed me to a lot of alt country/indie and alt country adjacent music.

I’ve seen 18 of those bands play :joy:

Apple Music recommended this to me and it’s fun as can be. String Machine out of Pittsburgh.

Heard this song for the first time today. Played it about 5 times.

CBS should have been playing this during the Cantlay bulkhead shot. Could have fit the whole track in before he finally pulled the trigger.

Did you see his Reunions album documentary on HBO? Highly recommend it.

Oh yeah. Great insight into that album. Had heard rumblings that there was some tumult during the process in some interviews he did around the time, but that doc made all of that much clearer. Sounds like the pandemic did a lot for their relationship after that process. A ā€œbreakthrough couple,ā€ as he said.

a little lazy in posting a playlist, but oh well. Said it before, but wanted to say it again; Miley Cyrus is better than Taylor Swift and her cover of Metallica is exhibit A

Yep, definitely. I appreciate his willingness to be completely exposed. The good, the bad and the ugly are all there for the audience to see. In a world of carefully crafted lives on display it’s refreshing to hear from an honest artist.

Also, how long until I don’t have to wait an hour between each post? Never had this happen on a forum before. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Pop Punk/Emo fan checking in.

Hot Mulligan, The Wonder Years, Alkaline Trio, Spanish Love Songs, The Story So Far would be among my most played bands.

Saw Jerry Cantrell in Tulsa a few weeks ago. Sounded great and played a ton of AIC. Mixed in a few of his solo songs…which sound exactly like AIC. Thoroughly enjoyed the show and I highly recommend attending if he passes through your area.

Love it! Big fan of Hot Mulligan. A couple Canadian bands I’ve gotten into recently are Chief State and Youth Fountain.
