@Nickygifts did you see the new PGA TOUR LIVE/ESPN+ ad that has DEVO music featured?!?!
No what song did they use?
I think it was “That’s Good”
I only saw the snippet once and it was short but it was for sure devo.
What’s your go to devo song?

So typical, but for good reasons.
I have probably told this story before.
When my oldest daughter was like 1, my father in law was going through a bit of a rough patch. He had recently retired and was depressed because he was so bored. For whatever reason, this 67 year old, Republican, as conservative as you can be dude took up watching Ridiculousness. Became like his favorite show. Somewhere along the line, my kid got hooked on it too. They watch it together, whenever we see it in the guide (which is ALL THE TIME) she wants to watch it. Her and my youngest now walk around singing yeah yeah yeah yeah yeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeah yeah. It is adorable.
So
Had this linked to me today. I should start listening to more Modest Mouse because most of it was pretty spot on.
Pixies
You’re fine working in software development. You’ve been there a long time, your friends are there, no one else in the company knows what the fuck you do all the time, but that’s because their brains can’t handle it. You don’t even like IPAs anymore. Your daughter moved back home.
Prophetic.
I don’t have a daughter though.
I burst out laughing at the Everclear one
Those aren’t dad bands. They’re all from my youth! ….oh wait…
Not my favorite of their new stuff but I did think the video was fun
I’m sure it will grow on me, but I’m not there yet. We shall see.
Personally I enjoyed it. Still unsure how I feel about the overall more polished direction their sound seems to be going. Like Waiting/Kill Something and now this aren’t that far removed from This Place Sucks Ass but sound a good bit different. From the email announcing the release though it sounds like as the album goes on it more resembles TPSA and TDO
Did anyone get massive Fyre Fest vibes out of that When We Were Young Festival just announced in Vegas this fall?
at least you’ll be able to get a meal and a room if things go south.
I just felt like I was cut from the team…
