I would’ve committed, signed up, and paid up front months ago. Unfortunately, I knew about a wedding I have to attend in phoenix and didn’t double book. Lord knows, everyone would have been just aghast at a bait and switch.
Everyone thinks “I’m going to get a shot at the champ!”, only to be bamboozled!

To this note, maybe besides @greebs and @Mr.Alleged’s hostility. I think most of the norcal roost is pretty reasonable and if it would have created a more healthy roster/participation in the event would have been open to lobbying for something in LowCal territory.
The goal is to have a fun event, competitive yes, but if thats something you guys needed I think we would have been entirely receptive of that. We are all adults, things do happen yes.
If we were to try and redo this properly. If we made it so it was somewhere near you guys: Torrey, Balboa, Rustic, Harding. Anywhere in between, do you think that would help move an event like this forward in the way it was intended @JoeyKnish? Would love to play with my guy @jsg_nado.
This is a solution oriented post, so Id prefer not to continue any previous spats.

I mean we can get to that after this one is over. I think its best to keep this thread focused on the event that is happening and figure out best way forward for the next one after the hats come off and hands shake for the first one.
