It’s just a muni but it’s been in great shape every time I’ve seen it and the course has some character. Really is a good fun round.

Sand Creek is one of my favorite public courses I’ve played in Kansas. We used to drive down from Lawrence in college somewhat regularly because it was the best value I’ve ever seen. Like $25 for 18 with a cart and range balls if you showed a college ID. Even now, I think it is less than $50 on a weekend and the course still hosts big time HS and college events. If I lived closer to the Newton area, I’d find lots of excuses to get over there.

I’d like to get a group together for my RHCC / Terradyne reciprocal folks on July 5, as I think most of us will be taking the day off for an extra-long weekend.
For the RHCC guys, I am playing in the July 4th tourney under individual stroke play. Would love to meet y’all if any are playing.

Not my favorite track in town, but has some really good holes. Don’t know how the condition has been this year.

Greens are rolling super good and the rough is very thick. A lot of winterkill like other places in town and we’ve had to re-sod a lot of places in the fairway. I would expect it to be ready for Annika’s tourney at the end of the month, maybe sooner.
