Mid Pines and Pine Needles are just down the street. Tobacco Road isn’t far either.

Hyland is a fun, fair, affordable and walkable course. It’s got plenty of land movement, conditions are good and plenty of birdies to be had for a decent player (or eagles, if you’re me ). It’s everything you could want and it’s one of those courses I wish was 10 minutes away instead of an hour. Plus, it’s President DBD-approved.

If you’re on the fence about this, the appeal should be making an entire weekend out of it. Tobacco Road, Southern Pines, Mid Pines, Pine Needles and everything at the Resort are obviously all great options.

A Hyland -> Southern Pines double on Saturday could be a great option as they’re 10 minutes apart and would come in at sub-$100 total. TR obviously a great choice too.

The Carolinas Chapter of the RACDG would like to announce the Hyland Hootenanny. When: Saturday, August 22 Where: Hyland Golf Club, Southern Pines, NC Time: 8am Field Size: 48 Cost: $30 walking, $40 cart/$50 solo cart The event will be gathering funds to donate to Folds of Honor, a military charity providing scholarships to family members of fallen soldiers. Def down for a Saturday afternoon round at southern pines. Thinking about doing a resort course too maybe on Thursday and then def Tobacco Road is on my agenda somewhere.
