Haven’t made an update here in a while. Here’s the scoop.
Chemo 16 was a bear, but we made it through.
Tried to get chemo 2 weeks ago but my liver levels spiked so they gave me a break. They think the little dance I had with the flu after round 16 was the main culprit, so we’re hopeful.
Tomorrow we give it another go and can hopefully take on round 17.
We’re tired, but we keep showing up. Thanks for all the encouragement and support. I look forward to the messages and notifications from my golf people. Y’all do a wonderful job of checking and and taking care of me.
If you’re playing tomorrow, have a breakfast ball on me.

Big week for the kid. We start PT on Wed and then scans and chemo Thursday. We’ve still been trying to get round 17 for the last 8 weeks but the levels have been too high. Hopefully we can get it done and celebrate some clear scans!
Wear that blue on Thursday!
