Game Notes:
Norman’s Niblicks took the Golden Pegasus, 31.5-29.5. It was tied after fourball. The Niblicks drew heavy blood in the initial alt-shot matches and held on for dear life to win. Big Plex newcomer, recently relocated from the Michigan, Brandon Ruszkowski (aka “Great Lakes Rory”), went 6-0 on points for the day and was low net in the morning, securing the NIT spot and likely a Roost Regional spot as well, pending availability. A great time was had by all, and here are some completely made up statistics:
120 degree heat index
6 gallons of sunscreen applied
20 massive pizzas housed at lunch
345 bottles of water and 97 electrolyte pouches consumed
Out of the 1,080 holes played, approximately 370 blind shots were hit with zero course knowledge
37 of those 370 shots resulted in balls lost after thinking, “nice shot”
89 putts left more than 3 feet short
