Hey y’all, I finally decided to #getinvolved and joined the nest last week so I could find some fun playing partners. Thankfully it is only my brother’s birthday on Saturday and not my wife’s, so I am available to fill one of the suddenly open spots in the Classic, if you’ll have me.

I don’t have a ghin yet. That handicap is calculated by my SwingU app.

Current pairings, subject to change if/when we add more people
Fourball (the foursome strokes off best player in group and each person gets 90% of their CH) - starting hole is subject to change also
Alt-Shot (each team gets 50% of its aggregate CH and team with higher CH strokes off opponent team) - going off Hole #1 in 8-somes
The two singles matches currently will use 100% CH to stroke off opponent

To raise a little extra money for the charity, we will do net skins for anyone who wants to do it for the morning round. 50% of the payout will go the skins winners; 50% to the foundation. $10 each. Venmo me @Kyle-Schindler-3 if you would like to participate or pay me cash at some point Friday night or Saturday morning before you tee off.
Will use full CH for net skins. Since we have low caps who near scratch, none of the high caps will get more than one stroke on a hole for net skins, even if their CH is technically more than 18 above the lowest cap doing skins.
I’ve also added a tab for the skins signup sheet on our Google doc.

By net skins, do you mean low net score wins the 50% pot? Or is there a per hole skins calculation going on?
Payout will be divided by number of skins won. Not all holes will have skins. But payout will be from 50% of the pot instead of full amount with other 50% going to the foundation
Ok, I’ve just never thought about a 40-way skins game. I guess it’ll just be whoever gets an eagle because I find it doubtful that there will be a solo birdie to win a hole.
Edit: I guess if not many people pony up $10, the chances of a birdie winning a hole go way up.
