Yeah just some weird holes on that course. 1 is a fun cape-esque hole but I think itâs a really bad opening hole for a resort course. And then just several par 5âs with weird forced layups from the tee.

Iâm never a fan of that line of thinking.
Why should criticism be beholden to also providing solutions? Are we consultants on the payroll now?
I mean, at a generalized base level, âjust stop making videosâ could be a valid response. Itâs not my stance, but itâs a valid one.

Ya #1 is tough resort course hole for sure. If you hit the middle of the fairway, you might lose your ball left, and then you have to land the approach short or youâre going way over. If you only played there once and didnât know anything about the course, youâd wouldnât really know where to go on a lot of holes.
I played it twice with members both times, so it made it significantly more fun to know where to hit it and challenge it that way, and it allowed me not to have to layup off the tee on any par 5s. I know what youâre talking about there though.
I feel like the meanest holes for a first timer there would be 3 and 4, which both have extremely severe greens that even had members just trying to get within 30 feet, even if they had a wedge.
I also shot like a 76 on my own ball first time I played it, so I might like it more than most would.

Find personalities that I like. Ultimately, at least in the videos I have watched, this comes down to these people and would you want to hang or play golf with them. And, for me and for the most part, the answer is no.
2 of the best holes out there and felt most like a C&C.
