Took the new to me, vintage clubs to the range to get the first swings in…not surprisingly it was a hilarious attempt at learning what real forgiveness is and is not. I also learned that the grips on a 60+ year old driver do not hold up. The grip on the driver spun loose and doubtful I can get it regripped for Saturday. I’m going to plug in the Titleist 975D as it’s replacement and lose one point, down to 8 points.
