Kelce is the right pick in any league, but doubly so in a ppr league
My keeper league team might be pretty bad this year, but at least weāll have a good time. Trading away my first rounder for this season came back to haunt me. It was a long wait to pick up the scraps at RB at the 2.12 spot.
Just found this thread. Have 2 spots open in a 10 team PPR redraft league. $100 Buy-in. We are drafting tomorrow night at 8pm PT.
I had 2 leagues fall apart this year and it doesnāt look like theyāre gonna happen. Would anyone want to jump in on a 10-12 team redraft? preferably on Sleeper but yahoo would work. Buy-in somewhere between free-$25. Could maybe throw some fun scoring or roster format together just to change it up from your other leagues. As of right now Iām only in 4 leagues, and thatās not enough to satiate my hunger
Never used Sleeper but looks cool. Would be interested if you get something going
Sleeper quickly became the best fantasy app. My only issue with it is the amount of dumb push notifications it sends out, and phantom badges it leaves when you close it. Otherwise, it works as good or better than the other fantasy sites in almost every way. And itās slow draft option is a game changer
If enough interest materializes in time before the season starts I would be interested, sleeper would be fine.
Iāve got a couple other avenues to get people to join, just figured it might be more fun for the folks here if everyone was a nesr member
And yes, I already have a way to have the Thursday players be drafted and count their points in a fair way. Has this issue in a league last season and I think we figured out the best way to do it. Just before anyone asks or balks at drafting after the first game
Iām interested in another league as well. My other leagues are on yahoo but I can download sleeper if you go with that.
Sweet. Count me in if you get a league going
Iāll get a league created after work and then when itās (mostly) filled, get some input on buy in and rules. Only thing Iām gonna put my foot down on is itās Point per First Down, not PPR
I moved my college league from Yahoo to Sleeper last year and everyone loves it. The app is miles better than Yahoo or ESPNās.
Yeah Iād love to get all my leagues ported over, but not being able to take the league history makes it tough. One of our leagues is in year 19, and losing all the history that yahoo keeps would suck
100%. Our league had been on Yahoo for 10 years and we loved having records to reference. We were moving from redraft to dynasty though and the features and functionality for dynasty on Sleeper made way more sense.
That is super interesting and a different twist
Iāve been on the āppr is badā block for a long time, but no website ever offered a better way to balance out scoring. It honestly got to the point where I was trying to go back to 0ppr. Guys like James white and JD McKissic should not be top 15 fantasy RBs just because they average 7 catches for 40 yard a game. Especially when you can catch a pass for negative 9 yards and still get positive points on the play.
2 years ago, Yahoo added it as an option, and sleeper started with it as an option. With the boom in receiver production and the drop off of rushing production, it does bring the scoring back into balance a little better without having mediocre RBs who catch a lot of garbage passes be better players than guys like Nick Chubb or Dalvin cook. Good pass catching backs will still have an advantage with all the extra yards and first downs theyāll get, but it wonāt be as stark
Ok, hereās the league. Join up, and Iāll shift the decisions on scoring and fee to the chat there
I joined
I went ahead and set the rules and scoring where Iād like them to be, but fine with changing stuff if most people want it
Iām not sure about other platforms but ESPN lets you set the specific points so you could do like .25 per reception or any other point percentage which seems like it would balance out real nice once you figure out the right point level
