The 2020 & 2021 threads seemed to be more league specific, and I guess if there is enough interest to fill a 3rd league, this one could fall that way as well. But in the meantime maybe this thread could serve as a home for any fantasy football talk / league openings, etc that otherwise may not take place in the NFL thread.
I also had another league I was in dissolve, so looking to add another. If there is enough interest for a 3rd Refuge league (at whatever buy-in) I would be willing to commish on whatever preferred platform there is. So if there is interest, just post here/let me know.

Who is everyone’s sleepers for the year? I do an auction draft every year and it helps to have some sleepers to spend less on so you can go big on other players

wow that’s very interesting. so your bench depth is low and you’re probably less likely to take someone injury prone. If McCaffrey fell out of first round or saquon fell out of second i’d be interested. But my favorite sleepers right now are george pickens and juju. Matt Stafford was a top 5 QB and is going undrafted in a lot of leagues. New Vikings offense looks good too

I should have said we do a variation of a vampire league. 5 bench spots. Vampire gets first choice of waivers every week. Stafford is one I hadn’t thought of. JuJu is a focus for me for his price. Thielen is another cause he is somehow projected priced low, but I feel the Vikings are gonna use him exactly how McConnel used Kupp

If anyone wants to feel better about their FF formats, or wants to burn a friend text group to the ground, allow me to inspire. To the vast majority of you, this will sound like a very dumb league, but it’s the most fun I have had:
Four teams. 40 roster spots. 16 starters/24 bench spots. No kickers, no defense. FAB of $15, but minimum transaction value at $2, so at most, you only get 7 transactions per year, so a major emphasis on depth in the draft. Four keepers per year, 2 year limit on a keeper.
It all just comes down to an internal battle as you will have massive games from bench guys routinely. A star performance doesn’t guarantee a win either with 14 skill guys starting.

are you willing to take anyone from seattle this year? i think it’s an opportunity to buy low in later rounds. Rashaad Penny’s had a great preseason
Yeah Penny is on my list of emergency RBs if the well dries up and I need a bench spot filled. He’s the only one I’m really considering from Seattle though

I am in a dynasty league with a mixture of my friends I grew up with and some from college, and I really enjoy it. Very competitive. Just started last year after many years of redraft. I was always a strictly one league guy, but now that my only league is dynasty, I kind of feel like I’d like to be in a separate redraft league.
If anyone has one that’s around $100 buy in, please let me know. I certainly prefer PPR or half, but open to anything.

Yeah I have 2 leagues that haven’t set a draft yet so looks like they may not happen, and a league where I was removed by mistake and didn’t notice until after the draft has taken place, so if anyone needs a filler for a league that’s between $free and ~$25, I’d like to get one or two more leagues
I usually do 1 Best Ball on DraftKings every year just for the hell of it. Can be fun unless injuries knock you out early.

Weirdly, I kinda see this as a wash. You went from a little weak at WR and strong at RB to strong at WR and a little weak at RB.
